The Jameel Prize is co-organized by the Victoria & Albert Museum with Art Jameel. The focus of this edition of the Prize is the moving image and digital media.

The artist has a solo exhibition featuring three films which draw inspiration from imagined nonsense words that are used in Caribbean poetry and music.

The Award carries a prize of £10,000 and is given to contemporary artists working in film. Tafakory navigates the archive of Iranian cinema, exploring displacement, memory and resistance.

The biannual award also includes the organization of a solo museum exhibition. This will be Jonas' first exhibition in Korea.

The exhibition is co-curated by Triennale Milano and Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain. Participating artists include Agnès Varda, Jonathan Vinel, Wang Bing and others.

The show comprises two films, Scénarios and Exposé du film annonce du film “Scénarios”. ICA will also present a screen series that spans over six decades of Godard's work.

Exhibitions and retrospectives are being held at The Museum of Modern Art, Pace Gallery and Anthology Film Archives.

Rist's installation Homo Sapiens Sapiens was originally presented in the Swiss Pavilion at the Venice Biennale in 2005.

In Floating Sea Palace, Lap-See Lam takes inspiration from the story of Lo Ting, a mythical human-fish hybrid. This is the first exhibition of the artist's work in Canada.
