The exhibition will span more than seven decades of the artist's work, from her early experiments with conceptual art and performance, through film and music.

The event, titled The Land Will Wake Up and Devour Us, will include a screening of three of Zhao's short films, followed by a performance and a conversation with filmmaker Lynne Sachs.

SWARM is the first solo museum exhibition of Nance's work in the United States and marks a significant moment in his career as one of the most innovative and influential artists of his generation.

The event, organized by Philip Widmann, is produced in cooperation with Arsenal, Harun Farocki Institute and Open City Documentary Festival.
